The floor leaders of South Korea's five main political parties embarked on a six-day trip to the U.S. on Wednesday... as part of parliamentary diplomacy efforts to promote the country's security and economic agenda.
During their visit, the group of lawmakers will meet with U.S. congressional leaders,... including Kevin McCarthy -- House Majority Leader... and Ed Royce-- House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman.
They will also meet with think tanks and top officials from business circles -- to discuss a range of issues,... from a possible U.S. tax hike on auto imports,... to Seoul's initiative for peace on the Korean peninsula.
