Strong Thunderstorms Bring Floods to Massachusetts

Thunderstorms caused flooding in different areas of Massachusetts, knocked out power to thousands of homes and disrupted flight on Tuesday, July 17.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Worcester, Springfield, Clinton, Boston and Northborough areas.

The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency said more than 3,000 electricity customers in the state were without power.
