This is what John Bolton said during an interview with ABC News on Sunday,... when asked about Trump's tweet which was posted following the historic Singapore summit between North Korea and the U.S.
Meanwhile, the White House cancelled Bolton's scheduled interview with CNN.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said this was because of a CNN reporter's (quote) "bad behavior" during a joint press conference in the UK.
