In this video, filmed by Izzy Brown and Mia Wally, interview West Papuan Environmental Academic Korenus Watori and Mama Yosepha, who has been imprisoned more than 18 times by the Indonesian military and police for her activism in standing up to the illegal Indonesian occupation and environmental destruction of West Papua.
In 2001, she won the Goldman Environmental Prize for her resistance to the Freeport Mine, the largest goldmine on Earth which effectively funds the Indonesian state colonialism and genocide of the West Papuan people.
