The Supreme Court has pulled up the govt for neglecting the world heritage site Taj Mahal. Fed up with the apathy towards the preservation of the monument, the SC told the govt to either restore the monument or raze it. The court has been monitoring the condition of the Taj for years but the monument's state is steadily deteriorating due to rising pollution levels and scores of people visiting the site.
