Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said that there was no need for the police to send a team to the UK to record the statement of former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman.
He said they are confident that he would return and as a police report had been lodged, he is required to have his statement recorded.
Police are looking for former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman in relation to their investigation into complaints that he had intimidated Governor Juhar Mahiruddin.
Musa in a statement on June 26 denied that he was a fugitive, stating that he was seeking medical treatment in the UK.
