A crowd of supporters gathered to greet a team of Thai Navy SEALs on Tuesday, July 10, after they successfully freed a youth soccer team and their coach from a flooded cave in Thailand’s Chiang Rai province.
This video shows members of the rescue team cheering and shouting “Thank you” after the navy officers re-emerged from the cave in Tham Luang.
The 12 boys and their coach were gradually rescued over a series of days after being trapped in the cave since June 23. The final five victims were rescued on July 10, the Bangkok Post reported, after divers first discovered them on July 2.
