Johnny Depp Sued for Alleged Assault and Battery The actor is being sued by a former location scout for an alleged altercation on the set of City of Lies. Greg “Rocky” Brooks alleges that the assault happened in April 2017. Brooks said when Depp became mad he punched him twice in the lower left side of his rib cage. He also claims Depp yelled he’d give him $100,000 to punch him in the face after. Brooks said Depp had to be removed from set and that his breath reeked of alcohol. Brooks also said when he wouldn’t sign a declaration stating he wouldn’t sue, he was immediately terminated. Depp, the movie director, Brad Furman, and the film’s production companies are all being sued.
