A wise, older puppy took it upon herself to keep a couple of younger foster puppies safe from the perilous stairs at her home in Birmingham, Alabama.

A video, shared online on July 8, shows seven-month-old Annie gently pushing her younger friends away from the top of the staircase. According to the pups’ foster mom, the older dog belongs to her grandma.
