Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said that the government is considering how much of the asset declaration by lawmakers will be made public.

He said this is as the asset declaration may affect the privacy of family members.

Yesterday, Mahathir had announced that the government intends to mandate asset declaration for all Harapan lawmakers.
