Sepang MP Mohamed Hanipa Maidin collapsed midway through Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad's monthly speech to the civil service at the Prime Minister's Office in Putrajaya today.

Hanipa, who is the deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for legal affairs, was standing at the edge of the stage with a lineup of ministers prior to fainting.

Mahathir briefly paused his speech while the other ministers went to check on Hanipa.
