A flood warning was issued for Worcester County, Maryland, on July 6, before the Maryland Emergency Management Agency reported two inches of rain had fallen by early afternoon.

County officials said thunderstorms hit the Ocean City area on July 6 and reported floodwaters as deep as three feet.
