Hyundai says that there's a demand out there for a less-expensive, more-performance-oriented Veloster Turbo, and the Korean automaker is betting that those clamoring for such an offering are willing to sacrifice content in order to get what they want. So, come February, Hyundai will offer shoppers the Veloster Turbo R-Spec: a de-contented Veloster Turbo with a few chassis upgrades for a target price $1000 cheaper than the standard Turbo.
