Carolyn Steyn is a philanthropist, actress and patron of 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day an "initiative with a very big heart" which has attracted thousands of members not only in South Africa but also around the world. She recently completed a portrait-blanket that pays tribute to and celebrates Madiba’s centenary year, with all blankets making up the portrait to be distributed to communities in need throughout South Africa.
