Karnataka Chief Minister has unveiled the maiden budget of JD(S)-Congress coalition government. In his maiden budget, giving a major blow to Kannadigas the CM has raised the fuel prices in the state. The prices of petrol have now been hiked by Rs 1.14 and diesel prices have been hiked by Rs 1.12. The CM has also raised the electricity prices. Now tax on electricity will be raised from 6% to 9%. This comes as a blow after the relief of waived off crop loans up to 2 lakhs in all banks. Is this budget only farmer friendly?
