Over the past 30 years, over 1,000 indigenous women have been killed or reported missing in Canada, often last seen or found along a 720-kilometre section of road nicknamed the Highway of Tears. After decades of indifference from the authorities, their fate is finally becoming a national story. We meet some of the relatives of those women whose mysterious disappearances from as far back as the 1970s continue to go unsolved. Our colleagues from France 2 report, with FRANCE 24's Yena Lee.
