FOXBORO -- On a day for statements at Gillette Stadium, Tom Brady saved his loudest and best for last.
Brady found Brandin Cooks for a 25-yard connection with 23 seconds left in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots a 36-33 win over Texans. It was Brady's sixth game of five touchdowns. He was 5-of-8 for 93 yards on the final game-winning drive.
Brady found both Cooks and Chris Hogan for a pair of touchdowns. Rookie Deshaun Watson, a two touchdown underdog, was about to steal the show, but fell short of becoming the first rookie quarterback to beat Bill Belichick's Patriots in Gillette Stadium in nine tries.
