South Korea is dispatching an inspection team to North Korea's Mount Kumgang for three days starting today.
The team will inspect the resort that will be used in August for the reunions of families separated by the Korean War,.... as agreed at the inter-Korean Red Cross Talks last Friday.
The team is made up of 20 people, led by the director general of Seoul's Unification Ministry's humanitarian cooperation bureau, Kim Byung-dae , and includes workers from the South Korean Red Cross and technicians.
The team will check the meeting rooms, hotels, rest areas and power supplies.
And after this week's inspection, South Korea will start renovating the facilities in July or August.
