A gathering organised by Hindu Agamam Ani Association outside the Batu Caves Sri Mahamariamman Temple ended today after a commotion broke out between the organisers and supporters of the temple committee.

The Hindu Agamam Ani Association had organised the gathering to call for the 'saving' of the Batu Caves temple by registering its temple committee under the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and to reform its management.

Sri Maha Mariamman Temple Dhevasthanam chairman Tan Sri R. Nadarajah said that the temple committe had nothing to hide and conducted the temple affairs transparently he added that the organisers could meet him and the temple management to clear the air over any issues.
