South Delhi residents protest against tree falling; 14,000 trees to be cut for redevelopment project

Residents of South Delhi have carried out a candle light march in the capital to protest cutting of more than 16,000 trees under the South Delhi redevelopment project. The protest was called the "Delhi Trees SOS" campaign and was organised to make people aware of the redevelopment project and its impact on the environment.
