According to Gizmodo, YouTube is creating new ways for their creators to generate revenue. The video sharing platform added new tools, such as a Channel Membership feature. This membership feature will allow viewers to subscribe to channels for a monthly fee. The monthly $4.99 fee will give members access to exclusive digital goods and content. Some perks may include exclusive videos, exclusive live streams and possible shout-outs.
