A Chinese social media site is blocking any mention of John Oliver and “Last Week Tonight.” According to Hollywood Reporter any mention results in a failure message. The message says: “The content contains information that violates relevant laws and regulations.” These words were blocked because the show made fun of Chinese President Xi Jinping. In his segment Oliver made a reference to a Chinese joke that Jinping looks like Winnie the Pooh.
