A rare hoard of ancient rings collected by a gas fitter, including some dating back to the 1st century, are expected to fetch up to £120,000 at auction.
The 54 rings - described as the most impressive seen outside of a museum - were collected in the late 1950s and early 60s and only discovered after the owner died.
They were inherited by the 93-year-old’s grandson, from Cambridgeshire, who took them to a valuation day.
