The European Union will start imposing a slew of retaliatory trade tariffs on U.S. goods from Friday.
The move comes in response to the Trump administration's decision to slap tariffs on European steel and aluminum.
The EU's trade chief, Cecilia Malmstrom, said Wednesday that about three-and-a-half-billion dollars-worth of American goods will be taxed.
The products range from bourbon whiskey and peanut butter to Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
