Vatican City and surrounds - Rome Pilgrimage Holidays. Many Catholic Christians visit the Vatican City as a pilgrimage where the Roman Catholic Churches report. Inside the Vatican City is St Peters Square which can hold tens of thousands of people at its Wednesday Papal Audience sessions. The architecture and buildings are magnificent and there is also a Vatican Museum. Strongly recommended to attend the Papal Audience as part of life's experience. We enjoyed our visit there.
