A female Asian elephant calf was born at Taronga Western Plains Zoo, Dubbo, in the early hours of June 14.

The tiny addition to the zoo’s family is yet to be named, and is currently spending time bonding with her mother Porntip, as well as her aunty Thong Dee and cousin Sabai.
