Four days have passed since the historic encounter between U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore... and some surprising new details have emerged.
President Trump has revealed that he gave Kim his personal phone number... and that they might make a call some time this weekend.
Our Blue House correspondent Hwang Hojun has the details.
Apparently, they've exchanged numbers.

"I gave him a very direct number. He can now call me if he has any difficulty; I can now call him. We have communication. It's a very good thing."

And the U.S. President suggested he may personally call North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Sunday, although he did not elaborate.

“Well, I’m going to speak to people in North Korea, and I’m going to speak to my people who are over in North Korea.”

President Trump made the remarks on Friday when asked what he plans to do on Father's Day.
It was less than a week ago when the U.S. President held a historic summit in Singapore with the leader of the reclusive state.
The two leaders signed a joint agreement, in which Kim reaffirmed Pyongyang's commitment to "work toward the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula" while Washington provides guarantees of security to North Korea.
Regarding the agreement, President Trump stressed that quote "I signed an agreement where we get everything",... balking at his critics who insist the summit results were a disappointment and were a significant concession to the regime.
He also hinted at the possibility of inviting Kim Jong-un to the White House.
South Korea's Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae has welcomed Trump's potential phone call with Kim,... saying it would be a major step forward.
A high ranking Blue House official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, highly evaluated the fact that Trump and Kim's relationship has reached another level, where they can talk to each other whenever necessary.
Hoping it would become an opportunity for the two leaders to cultivate and solidify mutual trust, the Blue House predicted if the phone call actually takes place on Sunday U.S. time, it would likely be Trump and Kim discussing how to implement the joint statement adopted during the June 12 summit.
