Young moose triplets were spotted with their mother near a forest in Didsbury, Alberta, on May 29.
The rare sighting was captured by Randi Ingram, who spotted the moose from her backyard.
“It is quite common to have twins, but triplets, while not unheard of, is certainly not a common occurrence anywhere in Alberta, and a little surprising given that our winter was so long and so harsh,” Wildlife biologist Chris Fisher told CBC. Credit: Randi Ingram via Storyful
