Gustavo Petro was endorsed by a group of retired police officers. They are calling on him to push forward with the peace talks with the ELN, and to protect the accords reached two years ago with the FARC. Petro defied all odds to become the first leftist candidate in Colombia's modern history to reach the second round of a presidential election.
