Darwin man Wade Kelly was fishing at Alligator Head, Northern Territory, early on Saturday, June 9, when he captured this footage of dozens of crocodiles sunbaking along the banks of the Daly River.

ABC reported crocodile management specialist Adam Britton said this spot is well known as a great spot for fishing, and “the crocodiles know this too.”

Kelly told Storyful he was lucky enough to capture the footage as the low tide coincided with the morning time while the reptiles were out catching the morning sun to warm up.

“The area has extensive sandbars and deepwater bends that can house many crocs at a time,” he said. Credit: Wade Kelly via Storyful
