This black-necked stork was about to die. Plastic had caught on its beak and it couldn't eat. So bird lovers and wildlife officials decided to rescue it. It took five days, but they were eventually able to capture the bird.
The stork will be kept at Sultanpur National Park, not far from Gurugram, until it is strong enough to be released in the wild.
The rescue comes just days after World Environment Day. The theme this year was against plastics, which harm wildlife.
