A python regurgitated five whole chickens after being caught by villagers in southern China.

In the video, filmed in Meizhou City in Guangdong Province on June 8, the snake stretches its mouth out wide to regurgitate five chickens.

A villager saw the snake stealing his chickens from a coop and another villager helped him to catch it, reports said.

Police arrived at the scene after receiving reports from villagers.

The python was released back into the wild.
