Palestinians protested at several locations along the Gaza-Israel border on June 8, burning tires, as two deaths were reported.

At least 47 people were wounded, Haaretz said, in what it called the largest border protest in weeks.

The Jerusalem Post said hundreds of Israeli troops were deployed along the border fence.
