U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says the Trump administration is going into the June 12th meeting in Singapore fully committed to getting Pyongyang to denuclearize.
He also stressed that the U.S. expectation is that North Korea is going to abandon its nuclear weapons,... promising the regime that if they do,... the country will have a brighter future in terms of its economy, security and being brought back into the international fold.
Trump's top diplomat also said he will fly to South Korea the day after the summit to meet with senior officials from Seoul and Tokyo.
Pompeo will then fly to Beijing to meet with Chinese officials to inform all the key players in the region on the results of the Kim-Trump meeting.
