The 14th International Golden Roof Challenge Innsbruck once again saw a great line up on the FlySwat yesterday evening in Innsbruck. Neither the simultaneously staged football international match Austria / Germany nor the uncertain weather conditions could significantly influence the number of visitors to this annual event in the heart of old Innsbruck.
In the men's long jump, the German Paralymic world record holder Markus Rehm won the prestigious battle with ex-indoor world champion Ignisious Gaisah (with whom he co-shares the meeting record, currently 8.18 m) with an outstanding 8.15m. Second was South African top jumper Zarck Visser with 7.94m in front of Gaisah of the Netherlands who jumped 7.80m.
