Good morning. The scorching start to June will continue across much of the country with no relief from the heat on this Thursday. This should be the breeziest time of the day...

Daegu and parts of Gyeongsang-do and Gangwon-do Provinces are under heatwave advisories with temperatures hovering in the low thirties...we'll hold onto this unseasonably hot readings for next few days..

In terms of air quality, Busan, Ulsan and Chungcheongbuk-do Province are waking up to high levels of ultrafine dust levels...you will need a face mask on your way out to work, the rest of the country will also see dust levels rising as the day goes on.

Taking a closer look at today's readings...Seoul, Daejeon and Daegu are having a low of 18 degrees while Gyeongju is at 17 degrees.

Gyeongju and Daegu will have sweltering afternoon highs at 33 degrees Celsius, Seoul will be warm at 28 degrees under mostly sunny skies all day, be sure to drink plenty of water
