Good morning. Many regions had a blistering first weekend of June..with a heat wave advisory some southern regions yesterday...
It won't be as sunny as yesterday, but UV rays remain strong while ozone levels will be high as well. Be sure to drink plenty of water and stay in the shade...in the afternoon.
By the afternoon, readings will skyrocket to 31 degrees Celsius in Gyeongju, Daegu will get up to 30 degrees and Seoul will top out at 27 degrees.
Warm and sunny weather will continue with no rain in the forecast in the capital.
With that, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.
South Korea will see the early summer heatwave ease a bit this afternoon. North Korea will see partly cloudy skies with warm highs.
Hot weather prevails in Islamabad and New Delhi with highs in the low forties under sunny skies.
In New Zealand, the east coast and Wellington will see more downpours before it eases up this afternoon.
Over in the U.S., expect a rainy Monday morning in New York before it clears out in the afternoon. D.C will be sunny all day.
As for South America, Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires will have a wet start to the new week.
Taking you to Europe,... I hope those of you in Paris enjoyed the sunshine on Sunday as rain, lightning and thunderstorms are forecast this week.
Lastly to Africa, most cities on the map will be under sunny skies except Addis Ababa with scattered thunderstorms.
