According to a report by Reuters, a US judge has ruled that investors who have accused Theranos Inc of defrauding them into investing by touting breakthrough blood-testing technology that never actually existed cannot pursue their claims as a class action. U.S. Magistrate Judge Nathanael Cousins ruled late on Thursday that individual lawsuits were more appropriate as some investors may be unable to show they relied on the blood-testing company's alleged misrepresentations.
