Following days of storms, heavy rain caused severe flooding in the historic German town of Soest on June 1, turning streets into rivers and leaving cars submerged in floodwaters. Several buildings were also flooded, reports said.
Jason Prickett, an Englishman who owns a pub in Soest, shot this footage in the city’s old town, showing cars partially submerged and people wading through the water. Prickett told Storyful the cellar of his pub was flooded. Credit: Jason Prickett via Storyful
