In the dramatic footage caught on CCTV, Kieran Crampton is seen walking up to a house in the middle night before dousing the £11,000 Ford Transit van in petrol. But as dopey Crampton puts a match to the vehicle, he forgets to step back - so the flames engulfed his arm. The video shows an explosion - and then Crampton running away with his limb in flames. After seeing the footage, it did not take police long to find Crampton at the A&E department of a local hospital.
