Fiona Gordon with her Victorian style house from the Downton Abbey era. A Downton Abbey superfan has spent 18 months building a doll's house inspired by the Victorian country estate - complete with tiny characters from the series. Fiona Gordon, 50, who has been fascinated with the world of miniature from an early age, created the masterpiece after watching the popular television drama. The grandmother-of-four, who says she "adores" the five-part series and has never missed an episode, was bought a doll's house for Christmas 2012 by doting husband Derek. Inspired by Downton Abbey, she decided to take her love of crafts to the extreme by thinking of every nook and cranny that would be fit for a Victorian house and buying her very own Lady Grantham and underbutler Thomas Barrow.
