A husband spoke for the first time about the time he and his eight months pregnant wife were engulfed in a giant fireball at a family barbeque. Dave Brain suffered 40 per cent burns as his head, arms and chest was scorched by the exploding barbeque, which was caused by a faulty gas canister. But heavily pregnant Hannah, who had her back to the gas-fuelled grill, suffered third degree burns to her back, head and arms and went into false labour. Now, eight months later, Dave and Hannah, from Bristol, are celebrating the half birthday of their lovely daughter Lexie, who remarkably emerged unscathed from the incident and eventually born three weeks overdue.
