A furious mum is suing retail giant Argos after her two-year-old son was electrocuted - when he hung a bauble on a faulty fibre optic CHRISTMAS TREE. Sarah Allard, 36, watched in horror as her son Billy was hurled 6ft through the air when he was zapped by 240 volts as he decorated the fake fir tree. The excited toddler was helping his mum decorate the GBP30 green tree after Sarah bought it from an Argos store in Redditch, Worcs, on November 9. But he was rushed to hospital following the nasty shock last Thursday (6/12) which left the tot screaming in agony. He was treated for burns to his hands and nose at the town's Alexandra Hospital before being released the same day following an ECG scan to check his heart rate.
