Metro Tiles are dead in Windows 9 for Desktop - so it looks like its true and the Metro interface will be gone for good for Windows 9 desktop users. \r

Hurrah! About time and lets hope it never returns. In its place will be a Start Menu that will allow quick access to any Metro apps you do use direct from the desktop layer.. just as it should be. ****\r
