Apple May Switch iPhones to OLED Screens Come 2019 According to South Korea’s Electronic Times, the tech giant will make the upgrade from LCD screens for its newest models. The iPhone X is the only model to boat an OLED display, which makes the resolution more visually impressive for games, photos and videos. Next year, the OLED screens will reportedly be coming to a 2nd-generation iPhone X and an iPhone X Plus. If true, iPhones may be even costlier, seeing that the current iPhone X with an OLED display starts at $1,000.
