At least 30 people were killed in an attack on a wedding convoy in northeastern Nigeria on Saturday, according to a report by the BBC.

The incident happened in the state of Borno, Nigeria's most remote northeastern region on the notorious Bama-Banki highway. The dangerous stretch of road is bordered by a dense forest known as a hideout for the Islamist militant group Boko Haram. — Reuters
