The BridgePrep Academy of Riverview in Hillsborough County, Florida, had an unwelcome visitor on Wednesday, May 23.

Deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office were alerted about an alligator in a pond near where kids are dropped off for school. Licensed trappers sent by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission then removed the seven-foot female, which was pregnant, and moved her to a safer waterway.
