Mudslides shut down a highway in Gardnerville, Nevada, on Monday, May 21.

The US-395 near Topaz Lodge was closed as a result of mudslides at Mile Marker 1 in Douglas County, a spokesman for the Nevada Highway Patrol tweeted.
