Police Seize $770,000 and a Kilogram of Cocaine in Sydney's South

Police have charged two men and seized more than $770,000 in cash and over a kilogram of cocaine following raids across Sydney’s south on Thursday, May 10.

Officers carried out two simultaneous search warrants at homes in Mascot and Rosebery just after 6:00 am on Thursday, followed by two more in Rockdale and Pagewood, seizing a hydraulic press, white powder, cash, mobile phones, documents and clothing.

After additional inquiries, a property in Kingsford was searched where more than a kilogram of cocaine and $760,000 were found.

A 22-year-old man was arrested at the Rosebery property and charged; he will appear in court on June 14. A 26-year-old man arrested in Mascot will appear in court on July 12. Credit: NSW Police Force via Storyful
