A funnel cloud formed in Leander, Texas, on Sunday, May 20, amid heavy thunderstorms in the vicinity. The Leander Fire Department confirmed a tornado touched down, the National Weather Service said.

The fire department confirmed reports of tornado debris that had been earlier reported to the weather service, a news report said. Two or three homes had minor damage.
